Aled on Frank Sinatra [confirmed]
When I was a student at the Royal Academy I used to listen to him all he time - an antidote to too much Schubert and Handel. I just love his laid-back phrasing and vocal emotion. He can sing behind the beat, in front of the beat and even out of tune and still it sounds perfect. Many try to copy him but fail. Has to be one of the coolest performers ever in the history of music.
