The concert has just about started by now....I'm yelling Bravo Nick and throwing him red roses while the crowd is roaring with their applause. Very Happy

I know there will be a report to come for classicalx but since I am in the US and my day is only now ending with so much exitement - (well it should have ended a couple of hours ago...)
On concert day I heard Nick sing live for the first time since I have been a fan of his.(it's been a few days since I first noticed him) and I have to say he blew me away... how I heard him was by calling a friend of mine who attended the concert and this friend was kind enough not to hang up on me but to hold the phone up so I could hear Nick sing his first two songs! What a significant voice that man has - if any of you thought he was good recorded I encourage you to listen to him in a live performance when the chance arises! Even over a mobile phone with interuptions I
was totally knocked onto my rear!! No kidding, but then again he does have a licsence to use that voice as one of his VIP's did dub him' 007 licsence to Thrill'
and what a thrill Nick is! Wow - there are now 2 performers who are able to render me speechless -Nick - my Angel of Music- most definately deserves one spot! I hear my title
for Nick is rather befitting...can't wait to read the report!

Angel of Music is a very apt name Astrid, as he sang "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera with the soprano Sophie Dan. He really puts a lot of feeling and emotion into his singing and it makes it all the more wonderful. When he was singing this , it was very tempting to shout back that we would comply with all the requests in the song!
Other songs sent shivers up your spine, gave you lumps in your throat and bought tears to your eyes...but more of that in my official report for here. I was so proud of Nick yesterday though and thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful evening. Very Happy

Can you not just imagine Nick sing from Phantom - I would have died had I heard that!! I know what lynz must have felt like as it is her favorite...
"All we ask of You" Nick is that you never stop the music - Keep it playing, we will be there! In person or using that technology...hehehe we are so sneaky...

Or you could have even more fun with the lyrics to some of the songs he sung -

"Some Enchanted Evening", "All I Ask of you" is that "Old Magic called Love".
'Bring me my arrows of desire' and 'while there's moonlight and music and love and romance, Let's face the music and dance!' Wink

Actually with his "let's face the music" number, you could have imagined him waltzing around a ballroom floor, he looked so dashing in his evening dress suit - I'm sure he'd never be short of offers for a dance partner either Very Happy
