Australia Ovation Channel alert

Hi All,

As you will know, Katherine was in Australia in May for a promotional tour - and one programme she recorded there was "Leo Schofield in conversation with ...."

Now, it was then stated that this was recorded for broadcast later in the year. The channel on which Leo Schofield conversations are broadcast is Ovation, which is part of Foxtel Australia.

This is how you can get to their webpage:

This page however seems to be not working, and has not been in working order for about a fortnight. On other pages, Ovation usually provides details of the entire month, but at the moment, it still shows details for July.

I have been keeping tabs on this site - but it is frustrating that Katherine may appear anytime on that channel, and no details are available.

Quite possibly, the conversation won't be broadcast until late September - early October (it would make sense to tie it in with the concert tour to Australia) - but I hope that our Australian members have other ways of finding out what's on Ovation Channel.

That's why I have provided such complete details of web links.

The dates for the TV special Leo Schofield in conversation with Katherine Jenkins are now known!

On Sunday 3 September, the special will be broadcast twice, from 2:00 - 2:30 PM, with a repeat at 8:00 - 8:30 PM.

Most likely, the special will again be shown on Wednesday 6 September from 7:00 - 7:30. Those details are not confirmed from the website, but they fit the pattern. Other conversations with Leo Schofield have always been shown twice on Sunday, and invariably at 7:00 PM the next Wednesday ....

Ohh, and in the hour preceding the Katherine Jenkins interview, there is a documentary about the Classcical Brits 2006. surely that is no coincidence!

Mind you, I don't know if the times indicated are Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth times - but I do hope this gives us plenty of opportunity to notify our friends Down Under, and maybe one will be in a position to record it!
