Not to do with music - except that Aled will sing in the second one - but 2 very interesting programmes this weekend (both Sunday).
Good Morning Sunday - 7-9, radio 2 but also on listen again - Pick of the Day in the Daily Mail:
"Foreign corespondent Rageh Omaar shares his worries about having a dangerous job while being dad to two small children in this special Father's Day programme." and "It's hard having children and and a job that brings you into danger. Rageh Omaar, who brought us all those frontline reports from Iraq, joins Aled Jones for a thoughtful Father's Day interview"
and
Songs of Praise 5.40 - 6.15 BBC 1 - Quote from the SOP site: "Ten years after an IRA bomb exploded in Manchester city centre Aled Jones meets the first fireman to reach the detonation zone, a victim whose face made headlines around the world and a former terrorist who's brought peace to the city. Aled performs Stevie Wonder's song 'If It's Magic' and Manchester Cathedral Choir lead the singing with a thousand strong congregation including the hymns Crown him with many crowns, Lord for the Years, and We cannot measure how you heal."
There are some interesting bits about the interviewees on:

We joke on the AJ fanclub that Aled needs a Tardis - he cetainly does this weekend, as, at the same time as presenting SOP, he is presenting another one live in Chester Cathdral and is presenting "The choir" on radio 3!
If you listen / watch - enjoy. Me, I'm just off to Bristol for a live Aled concert this evening. The poor fellow will be exhausted by tomorrow night!
