Aled to make a brief Australian tour

Info on Aled's August tour of Australia was released yesterday - see under Aled's news items.

Venues are Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Queensland, Frankston

I feel I should add that Aled is so tied up with broadcasting commitments now that he is unlikely to be able to fit in another overseas tour for some time. So if you are interested, make sure you book for this one. I hope there is a venue near you! Very Happy

It's been in the offing for some time, volare, Aled should have gone in February but it didn't work out, then August was suggested a couple of months ago, but that was only confirmed a couple of days ago. The earlier Australian tour in 2003 was very successful, and he's wanted to go back since then; but his work schedule is so complicated, and with all the contracts with the BBC now, I guess that made the organising even more complicated. He is actually quite well known in Australia through Songs of Praise also.

No doubt there will be TV / radio interviews, there were last time, so I shall have to keep an eye out for them!

I'm absolutely ecstatic Aled is coming here in August...it feels like forever since he was here in 2003. The tour is going to be FANTASTIC, and if you're here in Oz, like me, make sure you book your tickets ASAP so you don't miss out!
