In conjunction with the launch of a new album "Music Without Words", ClassicFM and UCJ are running an interesting, fun competition with the opportunity to win copies of their new release.
Can you tell whether a sample of music is a genuine classical piece or a pop song being performed in a classical style? Well now you can find out by taking the challenge via the link below. Just listen to the short samples and decide whether you're listening to pop or classical.
To take the quiz and enter the competition please CLICK HERE

I was having a go at this the other day, it's quite a good competition and really gets you thinking. Some of the pieces were easily recognisable but others kept you guessing. |

Indeed Xantha, it sure does give the old "lug holes" and little grey cells a work out as it's certainly not as easy as it first seems! |

| I think I got most of the questions right in the Songs Without Words quiz, although there were a couple of composers that I weren't sure about. x |
