Chitty continues! Laughing But Aled is taking a couple of weeks off from Good Morning Sunday - probably to be with his family for one day a week!!

Friday 1st: 7.30 - Chitty
Saturday 2nd: 2.00 and 7.30 - Chitty

Sunday 3rd
* Good Morning Sunday: BBC radio 2: 7.00 – 9.00: Roger Royle sits in for Aled
* Songs of Praise: BBC1: 6.25 - 7.00. Second of the Highlights programmes - this one is from Chester, and includes a song from Hayley Westenra.
Monday 4th, Tuesday 5th, Wednesday 6th, Friday 8th: 7.30 - Chitty
Thursday 7th, Saturday 9th: 2.00 and 7.30 -Chitty

Sunday 10th
* Good Morning Sunday: BBC radio 2: 7.00 – 9.00: Roger Royle again sits in for Aled. Will Martin is said to be a guest
* Songs of Praise: BBC 1 4.55 - 5.30. Aled's tour of British Cathedral cities takes him to the ancient city of York for the third highlights programme. Looking back at the highlights of the Songs of Praise year he revisits the Sunday School on a bus and introduces music from the School Choir of the Year and the Radio 2 Young Choristers of the Year. York Minster, Northern Europe's largest Gothic Cathedral, was completed in 1472.Tonight we hear music from Leeds Cathedral,The Metropolitan Cathedral Of Christ The King, Liverpool, St. Wilfred's Church Harrogate and St. Nicholas Church, Sevenoaks. Appearing: the Young Choristers of the Year and the School Choir of the Year

* BBC radio 2:Friday Night is Music Night: 7.30 - 9.15: Aled presents the show from Dorking Halls. The BBC Concert Orchestra is conducted by Gavin Sutherland. Tenor Bonaventura Bottone celebrates Mario Lanza. Irish Soprano Ailish Tynan performs arias by Gilbert & Sullivan, Mozart, Donizetti and Handel, and celebrated trumpeter Alison Balsom performs works by Hummel and Mozart. This concert was first broadcast on 19th October, 2007.

Sunday 17th
* Good Morning Sunday: BBC radio 2: 7.00 – 9.00: Aled's back and welcomes former Olympic medalist Jamie Baulch, London bombings survivor Gill Hicks and Whitbread Poetry winner Michael Symmons Roberts. Sunday Spotlight artist: Padma
* Songs of Praise: BBC 1: Aled presents the fourth highlights programme, and returns to his home town of Bangor as he looks back on the highlights of the Songs of Praise year. He revisits the spectacle of the Wintershall plays and hears from chart- topping composer Phil Coulter. Music includes Crown Him with Many Crowns and O Lord of Every Shining Constellation.

* Good Morning Sunday: BBC radio 2: 7.00 – 9.00: Aled has been talking to author Greg Garrett, author of the Gospel According to Hollywood about parallels between Christian theology and films. Cathy Burton joins Aled live from Greenbelt to give the latest news from the festival, and Chick Yuill is live in the studio to talk about the inspiration we can draw from the Olympic Games. This week's GMS Sunday Spotlight falls on Mason Jennings, a 33 year old American singer songwriter who’s been releasing records since 1997.
* Songs of Praise: BBC 1 6.00 - 6.35 In the fifth highlights programme, Aled tour of British cathedral cities brings him to England's former capital, Winchester, where he takes former cathedral choristers, Jules and Ollie from classical pop group Blake, back to school. Music includes the Church's One Foundation and Shine Jesus Shine. In addition Aled sings “Dear Lord and Father of Mankind”,(music item 5) and Blake perform “Steal Away” (music item 7)
* Lincoln castle: 7.30 - 9.45: concert with Hayley Westenra Aled presenting and singing

* BBC radio 2 - 7.30 - 9.30: Aled sitting in for Terry Wogan
* BBC 2 12.00-12.30: What are you like?

* BBC 1: 6.00 - 6.35: Songs of Praise: Aled presents the sixth highlights programme and concludes his tour of British Cathedral cities with a visit to Edinburgh. He also sings "All My Trials Lord" - hymn 4
