Blake in Japan

You may recall from Dom's blog posting that Blake are due to visit Japan in May to promote the release of their album there. CLICK HERE to read Dom's message
They have also recorded a new single with Hayley Westenra entitled "Where Do We Go From Here" which will appear as a bonus track. The release date for this is scheduled for 21st May 2008 CLICK HERE

Well the guys have arrived safely in Japan and are currently enjoying the delights of Osaka.

The single "Where Do We Go From Here" is available from HMV Japan and is due for release on 21st May.

Blake release their single with Hayley Westenra in Japan today. I know from Hayley's own forum that many of her fans have pre-ordered it from Japan. If anyone has a copy, I'd love to hear your views on it.

I understand that Blake are heading home today. Hopefully we'll soon be hearing about all their appearances and adventures whilst in Japan (maybe even a few photos too!)

According to a posting on Blake's forum (which has been translated by a Japanese Fan) "Where Do We Go From Here" is No16 in the charts in Japan and the album "Blake" is No1!

Looks like the guys were hit out there! Smile

I'm a Japanese fan of BLAKE who posted offical Blake's forum .

There are some misunderstandings I gave.
Not No16 in the charts , the song of 16th is "Where Do We Go From Here" in this site .

That's ok bon-kichi, I think your English is very good and the news from Japan is still very promising as it shows that both the single and the album are doing well over there.

Great to have you join us on here too and hope you will visit often. Did you see Blake performing when they were in Japan? If so, what did you think?

Yes, I was in TOYOTA Alphard Launch in Tokyo.
My first impression of BLAKE was "gorgeous"!
But after I met them, it has been also "friendly" and "cute"

I believe that the guys will be rise in popularity in Japan.

I've heard today that Where Do We Go From Here is only currently available from Japan and as such will not be released on itunes at this time.However, it is still possible to order from either HMVJapan or the other sites previously listed...I believe quite a few Hayley fans have done this. Smile

Just heard a clip of the track on the youtube video (although it was difficult to hear with the narrator over the top.) Just waiting for the other link to load up. It sounds great though! Can't wait to hear it in full! x

The lyrics to Where Do We Go From Here (the song recorded by Blake & Hayley Westenra ) have now been now been added to Blake's Lyric section. It really is a beautiful song and I hope that it will be added to their next album - we'll have to wait and see, although I understand they are working on it now!
