For those who don't have a favourite amongst the nominations, but are fans of crossover music, after Dame Kiri Te Kanawa's fatuous attacks on both the genre and Hayley, this would be a good time for Hayley to win something!
If Hayley won it would be a knock in the eye for the anti-crossover snobs -- a knock in the eye for musical snobbery in general.

Last night at the Mayfair Hotel in central London, the nominations for this year's Classical Brits awards were unveiled. Seven categories packed with some of the top names of the Classical world - the winners will be announced at the award ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall on the 8th of May. Bit late but you know what they say!
We did our best Hayley and after your long popularity over here - well sorry it didn't happen. But lets face it you have more awards than most in your young life 
It was wonderful to see you with our Jonathan at the Classical Brits and just hope it will not be to long before you record and appear together again - you made a lovely Romeo and Juliet, and your idea for the bikes was brilliant - what pics we got  .
