Tosca is one of my favourite opera's, I was so excited to see that Nick will be playing the role of Scarpia. I may have to fly out there for this performance, I always thought Nick would be perfect for this role. I'm glad I discovered it, Nick can't keep anything a secret when his GG's are on a mission. |

I share your excitement on this one Connie . I have seen Tosca before and I remember when I saw it, thinking that Nick would make a great Scarpia. I know that Cavaradossi is the leading male but there was something about Scarpia's character that made me like him more.
Tosca has many wonderful songs in it, but one of my favourites is Te Deum - which Nick will now be singing! I do hope I can make it to one of the performances to see him perform in this.
For anyone else wanting to go, you can book tickets from 7th April 2008.

I've never seen Tosca before but I've always wanted to. It'll be wonderful to see Nick in it. I can't wait! x _________________ 'A life in music is a life beautifully spent.' (Pavarotti) |

From what he was saying at his concert the other night, Nick is looking forward to appearing in Tosca too and seemed to be pleased that we were hoping to attend. |

Yeah he did I keep looking out for news of Carmen but nothing's coming up yet. Tosca and Carmen were the 1st operas I'd ever heard of I think. x _________________ 'A life in music is a life beautifully spent.' (Pavarotti) |

I believe Nick said that Carmen was going to be an autumn production, so look out for information later in the summer. |

Yes, Nick will be sure to deliver a powerful Scarpia...
I hope we will be able to contain ourselved and not jump the stage and try
to help Tosca in her evil deed to 'off' him... lol - I can see ua all now devising ways on how to stop Scarpia _________________ Music Speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it Rest, Heals the Heart and makes it whole - Flows from the heavens to the Soul! |

| I've heard from Nick's manager Nadia, that they are looking into arranging a Meet and Greet to coincide with the opera performances. We'll be sure to bring you more information as we receive it. |

While tickets are going F A S T. There are still plenty available, though if you want more than 1 ticket seated together, it might turn into a little problem... never mind though. Sitting next to a stranger rather than a friend is still worth seeing and hearing one Mr Nicholas Garrett sing!!!
Hope all of Nicks fans will go see it! _________________ Music Speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it Rest, Heals the Heart and makes it whole - Flows from the heavens to the Soul! |
