After hearing both versions of White Christmas on their Christmas single, I just want BLAKE to reach No.1 more than ever!!!!

Not only can they create a beautiful, rich classical version of this great song, but they ALSO know how to let their hair down with a great POP version!

WHO else in the classical-crossover world would let us see two such distinct side of their personalities? BLAKE take their music seriously, but unlike so many artists, they don't take THEMSELVES too seriously - I love that!

So come on guys, get out there to the record stores, get on to Amazon.co.uk (they have more stock in now after the first batch sold out) or go to I-tunes and download the whole album - There BRITISH boys deserve a No.1 hit !!!

Well done to BLAKE so far, I'll be with you all the way,

BIG DIVA. xxxxx

Hey Big Diva,

us students at Bath university couldn't agree more!!! I group of us went down to HMV yesterday and bought all 30 singles that they had in the rack - now they have to order another batch in!!! Hehehe COME ON!!!!

For our tastes, the pop version of the track is going down really well, we've been playing it at our end of semester parties - could almost say its a cult classic amoung our group - we'll always remember it as the christmas hit of 2007 - who care's about Christmas No.1 - Simon Cowell owns that spot by default now, slimey git that he is.

Us Bath Uni girls will defo support BLAKE where ever they go too - they are the best!!!!

Well done Gina and your Bath uni friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If everyone went down to their local record store and bought out the stock of BLAKE CD's - the boys would certainly have a chance on No.1 or 2 Razz !!!!!

OK guys, Gina has set the target, lets get out there and find those CD singles, lets not leave a single one in its rack - I want to take on Simon Cowell too! Smile

The idea of being able to get a classical act into at least the top 10 for christmas, fills me with huge pride for the music I love.

LONG LIVE CLASSICAL CROSSOVER!!!!

Ladies you are great - I love your enthusiasm! Very Happy

I like both versions of White Christmas equally although, after watching the Classicfm video diaries, whenever I hear the "festive mix" version, I just picture Jules dancing around! Very Happy I can see how it would be a great hit at the parties Gina.

I think you are correct in saying that Blake take their music seriously but know how to have a laugh too and it all adds to the enjoyment of the festive season. If everyone follows your lead, I'm sure they'll be No1 in no time! Very Happy

I'll be going to HMV tomorrow to get Blake's single - might even get several copies! I was looking at competitors for Christmas number 1 on the Telegraph site:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/main.jhtml?xml=/arts/2007/12/06/bmchristmas106.xml

and there's no mention of Blake on there!! Granted its 2 weeks old, so they may not have anticipated how successful Blake's album would be, but...

Blake for number 1! Very Happy x
