Has anyone else heard this on the various forums on classical x - it's come up in two threads I've seen to far, but no one will confirm if its going to happen - would be amazing if it did.
Can you imagine how amazing it would be to have Jon performing as a special guest at BLAKE's concert in London on February the 28th? I really hope there is some truth to this rumour!!!!
Personally I LOVE Jon, and ever since I've seen them, I've loved BLAKE too - like a refreshed version of G4 to my ears, the album is amazing.
They should definitely work together, they'd be amazing.

Jonathan management did not mention anything ,all I know is nothing yet planned for tour.
I know promotion around the country will be done but where or when your guess is good as mine
Maybe that will be going to radio stations,tv stations and I know they said FNIMN is something Jonathan could go on
Nothing is planned.
Who knows it be nice if we can get confirmation
Blake are a nice group so Im going to go to it
If Jonathan will be guest that will send me up to the clouds again |

Natalie his album goes on sale on 18th. The concert is 28th

Hey BIG DIVA,
not sure where you heard this, but I heard on BBC Coventry yesterday that this was being discussed. The BLAKE boys were being interviewed by Bob Brolly and were asked if the rumour about Jon was true - they just said that it would be great and that discussions were under way with Universal. Either way, I've done as others have on here, and booked ticket anyway, as BLAKE are amazing live - I missed them performing with Hayley Westenra last month, and the reviews of their performance were fantastic.
Being able to see Jon and BLAKE on the same bill would be amazing. The other guests which were discussed on the show were girl groups and soloists, sounds like it could be THE concert of 2008 for us classical crossover fans. I'm getting myself and my uni friends up to London to be there for this concert, thats 10 of us coming along
Anyone else booked tickets, fancy meeting up for drinks before or afterwards? We're a group of students, but we're well behaved

I've also heard from Blake that whilst they would love to have Jon as a guest, discussions are still in progress and nothing has been confirmed yet....but you never know - it could happen!
It's great to hear that you have booked to go to the concert anyway Gina - I'm sure you and your friends will have a great time! |
