sorry its been so long!!
Hey all,
I am sat in Dublin listening to the Irish Film Orchestra lay down there beautifull orchestration. In Windmill lane studios, where U2 recorded their first 3 hit albums. Its amazing.
I am really pleased with the way the album is sounding. We are not far from finnishing it now. And i have to say that the whole team working on it with me are fantastic. With real passion and skills to make it happen.
My showcase is this comming thursday with lots of press, tv and musical agents attending. It will be so nice performing some new tracks and getting out there as a solo artist. Very exciting but scary too. I am not meant to tell you guys and i am not sure if i will be able to get any of you in. But my showcase is in REX bar, between Piccadilly and leicester Sq, london at 6.30pm Thurs 13th Dec. Be lovely to se some familier faces there.
I cant wait for the release now on Feb 18th 2008. Its so exciting to think that i will be able to hopefully tour again very soon too.
I hope that you are all well and i apologise for not writing on here for so long. But at least its a good sign that i have been very busy beavering away working on the album.

Corrrrrrr sauve, sophisticated and smouldering - never thought I would look at Jon and see sophistication but I do with this one and for the first time ever I can refer to him as Handsome rather than beautiful - veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy handsome and whoooooooo those eyes. Tinks doesn't like his boots on the chair though  if he did that on a train he would be prosecuted  But he never keeps his feet flat on the floor when sitting, to hyperactive. Yes I like it and it is hypnotic and sexy. Would like to see the others they must have taken at the same shoot.

I went down to Rex's Bar
I met up with 3 other fans
We were lucky enough to be invited in to the showcase
Jonathan was fantastic,his singing was like listerning to an angel.
I got big lump in my throat when watching him do his showcase
Massive massive thank you Jonathan and your managerment and your record company.
Jonathan going to be massive superstar and I would of been among those previlige to of seen him launch his solo career |

So pleased to hear it was a huge success with very supportive of Universal and Jonathan Shalit and that they were so good to you, fans too!  Very promissing! I just have to be patient!!!!!  Having said that, I really wanna hear anything about it from the press! Please!  |

Such a shame that most people could not get away from work as it was such a difficult time - good for the press but not for fans, but then the press was what it was all about. It was extremely kind of Jon to invite fans - not many would do that.

Hope he gives us news of his proposed Radio Tour soon with dates and venues, then maybe we can get out and about and support him that way.
Would be nice to see him up in Scotland again
