A TOTAL guess - is the woman second from the right (between Domingo & Carreras) Sissel? I just read the new home page info on Sissel since I have never heard of her before, and it says on there that she has sung with Domingo and Carreras - the homepage has her pic with light-coloured hair, but if you look at her face, I think it might be her with dark hair in the above pic Question

I recognised Sissel, Placido and Jose straight away (I LOVE Sissel) The woman on the left however... maybe the Russian I don't know the name of. Or Angela Gheourwghh what ever her name is Laughing But I don't think Angela would perform with the other three.

Which Russian singer do you have in mind Nicola? Is it Marina Laslo?

The answer...

As I said before, you have found the names of the men and and the lady at right is Sissel.

For the mysterious lady at left, it is the French soprano Emma Shaplin. She is not well known with her own style called "popera". Personally I have discovered Emma in 1998 on a TV show, they were broadcasted her video clip of "Spente Le Stelle". I adore her voice and her repertoire written for and by her.

Strange that you say that Sylvie! My first ever album of hers came through my door today. I'm about to give her a listen. Sounds very dark at the moment.
