Following the success of her challenge to help rebuild a community in Sri Lanka devastated by the Tsunami, Anneka Rice is back in the buggy again, this time facing an equally ambitious challenge in the UK. Anneka and her team are given the task of producing and recording an album of songs from musicals by first begging and persuading some of the UK's highest-profile performers to sing on the disc.

If that's not a daunting enough task, Anneka also has to throw a Gala concert attended by the great and the good, in order to launch the album. Appearing on the album are stars such as Duncan James, Cerys Matthews, Lesley Garrett, Curtis Stigers, Jermaine Jackson and Bonnie Tyler! This all star cast will be singing the top songs from musicals.

The proceeds from this event will go to childrens' hospices across the country by raising money and awareness via the CD and Gala event. Childrens' hospices are unsung heroes who provide vital care for terminally ill children and the families and siblings who care for them. Largely overlooked by the government to date, 85% of their annual costs are met by fundraising. Last year a staggering 20,000 children across the country desperately needed hospice care: only 4,600 received it.
