Hayley Westenra will perform in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra at the "Children Helping Children" Concert in aid of HemiHelp at Cadogan Hall on Saturday 24th February 2007. The concert will include a reading by Charlotte Ritchie of "All Angels", performances by gifted young musicians from Purcell School, Yehudi Menuhin School and Royal College of Music Junior Department and cabaret items by Babette Langford's Young Set.
HemiHelp is a charity dedicated to making life better for the 14,000 children in the UK affected by hemiplegia which is a condition affecting one side of the body resulting in weakness and lack of control, rather like the effects of a stroke. Visit www.hemihelp.org.uk for further information.
