Did a very long review of yesterday which luckily, just got finished before the site went down. Relieved it made on - could never have written all that again!
Just to say the event was wonderful and made even better by meeting one of the nicest blokes I have come across who made my seven year old daughter's holiday - we are all extremely lucky to have Russell.
Thank you again Russell.
Am slowly coming down to earth due to the size of the ironing pile to tackle today! |

Well Tricia I think I could handle about 4 and bang their heads together, but if anyone else wants to take 1 or 2 off my hands your quite welcome, after all I don't want to take all the fun away from my friends
It was me who started to read the posts about Russell yesterday, apparently they all had a fantastic time, and Russell was in fine voice, he sang the same 4 songs he had at Kenwood then he came on again at the end and sang Swing Low sweet Chariot and (oh blast the name of the other song has gone right out of my head ) he then went to the front of the stage for a meet and greet and signed White scarves and progammes. I'm sure it was BullPup who said she and her 7 year old daughter got up real close and personal before Russell even went on stage, something about seeing a crowd and following them only to see him behind a curtain (Yes Myra he already had his left sock on cos he was dressed in jeans, t-shirt and (i think it was a brown) suede jacket, anyway Bullpup and her daughter caught his eye and he gave them a smile so they went over and had a little chat about BP's daughter learning to play the piano and it was due to him that she was doing so, anyway he then signed their programme. Wow anyone would think I had actually gone myself I wish
Oops go the name of the song wrong - Thanks for clarifying the last 2 Rainy

It was a great Review Bullpup, I think I got most of what I remember correct
Tony sorry I keep forgetting to thank you for all your hard work, you really are much appreciated.
I hope it wasn't the sight of Mr January the caused the Hackers to play their little game.
Those of you who did not manage to get on this morning are in for a treat |

Sorry about the hackers xboss. What a pain. I guessed it was something like that.Just as well we have ClassicalX .
I read some of the reviews on Audley End, and Tricia Ann and Mel were on 7th Heaven . Wonderful concert, Russell on top form, sung Land of Hope and Glory and Jerusalem as well as the 4 at Kenwood. Shook hands with those at the front (Mel tells me) then came out for autographs and photos. Wonderful evening. Am so pleased for everyone, esepcially Mel....such a loyal fan (stop blushing Mel. it's true! ) |

Ohh I'm having one of those days, I wonder if Tony could sort my brain out once he's sorted RWUK
It was Volare who added the names of the last 2 songs Russell sang yesterday, I honestly don't know why I thanked you but I probably owe you one from past so Thank you
Quote from Volare..........
(Russell on top form, sung Land of Hope and Glory and Jerusalem as well as the 4 at Kenwood) |
