Enjoy ClassicalX it's a great site, I know RWUK is our home, but this is a wonderful site to explore.
Have fun, it's bedtime here in Australia, maybe by tomorrow we will be able to access RWUK. In the meantime I will look forward to what you have all devised to do to the hackers, and please include me in your plans.
Wish I could help you Tony.
Nite.

Hi everyone, good to see you all here - Laughing I would feel sorry for the hackers if you guys caught them though - it doesn't sound like you'd be gentle with them! Laughing

a hacker is someone who disrupts and adds viruses to a site, some also manage to get personal details from people going onto the site. DON'T panic though I would say Tony (Bubble) caught them before they did too much damage.

Forgive me but all the hacker business is new to me.

Why do hackers want to disrupt the site. They can't get that much detail from it can them? I could understand if it was e-bay, or a bank, or other comanies that sell to the public etc as they could hold bank details but RWUK Confused Confused Confused Confused

They are more commonly known as "Script Kiddies" - normally youngsters that find security holes and damage the site. They aren't interested in getting money, just leaving their mark like a graphitti artist would.

Proper hackers go after the big boys.

I think we should reserve the steam engine, tank and bus for the real big boys if they are just kiddies a good clip round the ear would be enough Grrrrrrr. Evil or Very Mad

But then they could be the big boys of the future so back to plan A. So how many of each would you like Julie. Twisted Evil

Hope the repair is going smoothly, thanks for all you do for us to keep us in touch with all things Russell.
