I have someone else whose voice is to die for, but he isn't signed, he is similar in style to Josh Groban-also. He actually did perform "You Raise Me Up" on Idol and it appears on the Australian Idol series 2 cd.
If anyone here watched the Rugby match between Australia and England on Sunday June 11- the match that was played at Sydney's Telstra Stadium- the young guy singing the Australian National anthem was him, his name is Daniel Belle and he is just 23 years old. I have met him a few times post Australian idol- he was a contestant on series 2 and a really lovely young man too. He is a student from the Australian Music Institute in Sydney.
if you want to hear him, you can listen to some mp3's from a concert done at Capers theatre here in Melbourne on this site below. His voice has matured and deepened so much, since I last saw him performing, which was last August at Capers Theatre.

| I did actually post about Daniel performing the National anthem before the Rugby match on the general chat also, because I thought people from the UK, would be watching the telecast- anyway all of us fans on his forum were delighted with how he performed it. He received high praise also apparently, so hopefully this leads on to even better things for him in the future. He is classically trained. |

More on Kane Alexander- he can be found on the Australian release of the Voices Cd- he is singing "Here's To the Heroes". Also very stunning.
His album is also available on import from amazon- think the UK one or is it the US one. Try both, I know it is on one of them. It is simply titled Kane Alexander.
Kane for a while (think it was two years) lived in New York and did the cabaret circuit of jazz bars and piano bars, whilst continuing to study drama and voice. |

I have someone else that I cannot leave this forum without suggesting- another young guy from Sydney Australia. His name is Alfio ( full name Alfio Bonanno). His voice will just absolutely blow you away. I met him recently at an instore here in Melbourne and he performed five songs. What a range he has. Lovely person to talk to also. Please have a listen to Alfio. His album Tranquillita is out now, it has been out for I think nearly two months here, and I think it is also available on import from amazon. Alfio is just 30 years old.
anyway here is his site.

| I really like Maksim Mrvica the croatian piano player, but not sure if he would make it onto here as although he is a crossover artist, he doesn't sing. His piano playing is amazing though as anyone who has seen him on classifm TV will know. I love the way he blends the traditional classic pieces with uptempo and sometimes techno beats. |

Kane Alexander will be performing the National anthem before the State of Origin rugby league match between Queensland and New South Wales next Wednesday evening, July 5th, the match is at Telstra Dome in Melbourne.
The match is a sell out, and has been for quite a while, so I am gonna have to sit at home and watch Kane perform the Aussie National anthem.
The telecast is on Channel 9- Australia from 7.30pm. |

tell you about a new artist or if it is somewhere else The artist's name is Nick Garrett former bass/baritone for Amici Forever and who was the one who did all the vocal arrangements for their cd Defined. He decided to go out on his own and it
doing a fabulous job of showing just how talented he is. Not only is the greatest Bass\Baritone of our time, he is also a composur and conductor as well and at this time is staring in a opera. He conducts choirs, orchestra's and just about everything else there is to do in music. He is more than worthy to be on your list

Faramir just look what you started - it's wicked that you did it and now he's got his own thread that's so cool here and his own reporter, and its all down to you.

this is from my Kane Alexander google alert. He performed the Australian National anthem last night before the State of Origin match between Queensland and New South Wales at Telstra Dome here in Melbourne.
this article mentions how stirring his performance of it was and after he finished the commentators commented on his brilliant rendition of our anthem. Hopefully it gets put onto his site or on youtube.com, it was a great rendition of it. Well done to you Kane.
the mention of his performance is a little way down the article, but I am posting it for you all to read.

I found another person people may enjoy. I found out about him through a music mag at JB Hi Fi record store, thought he looked cute and decided to check out his music.
In the ad it says here
