Excellent that Nick is performing at the Millennium Stadium for the footie finals in May. Just read it on the site now - where have I been...
Prefer football to rugby any time and Nick singing will be a rate treat for anyone going to the championship play off finals weekends.
Will Classical x be covering this ?? if they need a 'roving' reporter who knows the 'offside' rule I'll happily volunteer

Yes Jack - wouldn't it be a wonderful idea to be able to cover the story -and I can see you doing well with it too.
But in the meantime there are those of us who patiently wait their turn.

I'm no expert on the football side of things but I hope to be submitting a report on Nick's performance.
Will you be going yourself Jack? It does sound like it will be a great event for all Football and Nick Fans. Its also an ideal opportunity for those who aren't familiar with Nick's work(where have they been ) to get to hear it first hand.

Faramir says the same, phooey on football, get our Nick out there and have him do
what he does best and that is wow his fans with his magnificent voice. I would sit at
a footy game as they call it in OZ, just to get to see him and hear him sing. So either way I'd go if I live in the UK. But alas, I am in the USA and too far away to fly in for a footy game. The rest of you have a great time and Sir Peewee and I will stuff ourselves with Frosty's to ease our sorrow. |

It's just a fortnight from today that Nick will be giving his first performance at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff!
I'm sure you will all join me in wishing him the very best for his performance, lets hope it introduces some more people to his music . I'm not a football fan myself but I know who I'd name as Man of the Match!

Glad to hear that, - so are you going to be anywhere near the man for a close up, exclusive, hot of the press interview? And some pictures for the gallery?? And details about the songs, performance and the what nots of the day Since the game is 45 minutes each side of a performance, there would be plenty of time to 'bother' the man for his fans |

I just heard that Leeds are playing Watford on 21st May (Nick's first performance date) A lot of my work colleagues as Leeds fans will be going, so I've been telling them all about Nick. For some reason, they seem more interested in the football (boys will be boys!) but I hope that will change when they hear him sing at half time! I can't imagine anyone who has heard him sing has not been impressed with what they heard. The fact that Nick is performing there, almost makes me like football! |

Always could go to the games and take a book along or an I-Pod or something until the part of interest arrives...

I'm going to try and catch some of it on TV - hopefully they will at least show the National Anthem at the beginning, even if they don't show the half-time performance. Good luck Nick for Sunday, we'll be cheering you on. Never mind the outcome of the match, you're always a winner for us! |

For those of you who won't be there in person, turn your TV on to Sky Sports 1 on Sunday 2.00-5.30pm. You should get to see Nick sing the National Anthem and hopefully they will show some of the half time performance too.
For those who do get to see him, come back on here and tell us all about it, I'm sure everyone will want to hear your thoughts, especially Nicks fans overseas. |
