I enjoyed the Classic Response concert very much, and most of all, I enjoyed Aled as a host!

He was sincere and fun and it felt like I had a uncle on stage guiding us through the concert.

I will never again think twice about going to something he is hosting. What a charming man, I glad I had the chance to see it for myself!

Oh Nicola! You are sweet!! (not trying to be patronising!) I'm so glad you enjoyed it - so did I. Very Happy

You have chosen two of the adjectives for Aled that I would have chosen also - sincere and fun. He is indeed both (and a charmer!) I was drawn first by the singing as a treble, of course, but do also love his adult voice (only one song! - still it was good to see Aled and Julian Lloyd Weber together). But I do also think he is an excellent presenter - the right amount of knowledge of what he is talking about + plus seriousness when required + humour and cheerfulness to carry you along.
And he is really good with fans - we went round the stage door afterwards (did you?) and Aled had already left as we expected - he had to be up at 5.00 for Good Morning Sunday on radio 2 and clearly made a very prompt exit as Joseph McM was singing. Sad But had a chat with his manager there, who said "Aled knew you lot were here (we knew he knew we were coming anyway as we had talked with him after the St Pauls do) and says hello".

Next time we shall meet and give each other a hug! Laughing And if Aled is there you can meet him for yourself. But he is so busy with the presenting he does not do so much singing now.

Thank you for your comment!

Bonita
PS did you like the jacket lining?! - he did that at the Friday Night is Music Night I went to recently. Have you looked at the pictures I have put the links to on the General Chat board? Myleene Klass seems to be enjoying his jacket lining too! Razz
