I' ve just read in a greek magazine that Mario agreed to play the role of the famous tenor Mario Carouzo in a hollywood production about the tenor's life.  |

 The singer's name is Mario Lanza and I don't think our Mario wants the role-he would have to lip snc and he abhors that idea.Don't blame him.
Mario Lanza was famous in the 50s and 60's and 70's and died young ia 1979.His tenor voice was awesome and has never been duplicated.You can go to Amazon and hear him. Has many CDs and DVDs and movies.
I think Mario Frangoulis is one in a million.Love him.
