Aled's appearances this month

Hi Zio,

I miss Aled on classic fm also - he is on BBC 2 now on a Sunday morning, same time, but I personally preferred the sort of music on classic fm. Just personal choice. The Good Morning Sunday programmes on radio 2 do include interviews with people, a discussion subject you can e-mail / text in on (I've had 2 e-mails read out - one on Auschwitz, which I have visited, and one on fox-hunting - different weeks, of course!), as well as music, so are a bit different. He always made me laugh on classic fm - used to come out with what we termed "Aledisms" - I am sure you know what I mean! Laughing

The badges are indeed lovely but I have to point out that to get them that cheap, Tabby, who organised it, had to buy 500 and lay out a lot of money - not to be undertaken lightly.

Yes, he is very good indeed with fans - used to stay after concerts to talk if he could - (but he is invovled in so much he would often have to leave as he had an early start the next morning - e.g. to be at classic fm at 6.30, to be somewhere filming etc.) He is very good indeed at remembering people, and giving you a wink in the middle of a concert if he sees you! Wink

We have a wave at FNIMN. He seemed really glad to see us but we were in the front row.
