Just wondered if anyone from here was going to see Nick in Laurent at The Lindbury, Royal Opera House in March?

See you all on Wednesday!

He was BRILLIANT. Loved every second of it and I'm no opera buff but this was one helluva performance. He looked sensational in those period costumes and that wet t.shirt look at the end was very sexy !! That's one lucky leading lady with all those steamy love scenes with Nick. Blimey !! Well done Nick . I loved that you got the biggest round of applause of everyone in the cast too. I was so proud thought I'd burst. Good luck for the last couple of performances too. |

| This is probably not the place to put this, but I didn't want to start a new topic. I've just seen that there is going to be a film version of Therese Raquin made next year! Gerard Butler is going to play Laurent (the role that Nick had in the opera) with Glenn Close as Madame, Giovanni Ribisi as Camille and Ludivine Sagnier as Therese. I don't know if it will just be the story or if it will be musical, its a shame they didn't ask Nick to do it though! |

A film of Therese without the virile performance by Nick, I cannot imagine what it will be like and I bet none of the Garrett Girls who saw Nick at the Royal Opera House can't either.

Grantie - thanks for the news, since Gerard Butler and Glenn Close are listed - it sounds more like a musical version.
Hmm not sure if Gerard Butler is a good choice though - I did not like his performance in Phantom of the Opera - a bit too over the top if you ask me, of course I would prefer to see Nick in that! |
