I enjoyed Aled's show the other morning when he had Russell guesting. I must make it a habit to listen in. |

Hi volare
Glad you enjoyed it. Listening in really depends on being awake, I guess! it amazes me that he sounds so perky so early - last weekend he was presenting Friday and Saturday in Manchester for the Choir of the Year competition, rushing up to Preston for an evening concert (apparently arrving 20 minutes before it began!) and then afterwards back to Manchester, to get up at whatever hour to be in the studio and ready for a 7.00. start!
This weekend, if you are interested, the website says:
"Good Mornng Sunday - Aled Jones marks Mothering Sunday on the programme with a moving interview with Gee Walker, the mother of Anthony, who was murdered in a racist attack in Liverpool last year. She describes how she came to forgive his killers but how still, almost a year on, she still finds herself in denial as she continues the ritual of plating up a meal for him each evening.
GMTV's Fiona Phillips talks about the guilt of being a working mum as well as the love she has for her own mother who is living with Alzheimers."
Plus whatever music of course - listen out (I am ever hopeful!) for a request for the Cantique de Jean Racine in Aled's Choral Classic... It's not been played yet but, as I said, I am ever hopeful! |

When Aled read out my email on GMS a while ago, because 'listen again' is such a good idea - I was able to play it through again and not only record it onto my mp3 player but also play it again to my Mum and some of my friends.
