I know, I know, what a typical start of a topic. But, seriously, I am curious.

I love Sissel's pop material and I'm not sure I can give a favourite song (though I can definitely say 'All Good Things' is her best album). It would have to be 'Keep Falling Down', 'Should it Matter' or 'Where the Lost Ones Go'. 'Sarah's Song' is also touching.

Brilliant! Can't wait to read it. Thank you! I have already heard 'Marble Halls' (was on a classical compilation album) but nothing else.

Fire in your Heart, that is one of her old ones isn't it? I got that album through the other day and I found it rather... cheesy? Then again it was from 1992. Her voice was as beautiful as ever though! Very Happy

Fire In Your Heart was from 1994 and was the theme song of the Lillehammer Olympics. Olympic theme songs tend to be cheesy. The rest of that album, Innerst i sjelen, is Sissel's best album. (Polygram later tacked on Fire In Your Heart to her 1991 album Gift of Love when it re-released that album in 1998, but Fire In Your Heart is originally from the album Innerst i sjelen (Deep Within My Soul).

I love 'Should it matter' and 'Where the lost ones go' from the All good things album. They were the first Sissel songs I heard and I've been a fan since. I also love 'laer meg a kjenne' from that album.

I haven't really listened to any of her other albums but I'm planning to. My mum is a huge fan and has most of the cd's!

Just wanted to say that I'd heard a lot about Sissel but not actually heard any of her songs until last night - John Brunning on Classic FM played something that was apparently used in Titanic - it was absolutely gorgeous!

I can't get into the Classic FM playlist to find out what it was at the moment - but my word, what a voice that girl has! Surprised

I love her part singing Prince Igor .

It is taken from a song she did with Warren G.
