I agree there Bud. Russell has been marvellous all the way thru. Came in at the last minute at a very busy time, when he should be rehearsing for WOTW. Has been so marvellous with his singing and supporting Sian, not to mention having the good manners that other members of the judging team sadly lacked. Mr. Copeland was abominably rude tonight.

Congratulations, thoroughly deserved.
You are a WINNER despite what those pesky judges think. |

hi, iam classicalrusky, & this is my first time on the site & it seem's really good Iam on the other site known as "KOOCHIE" but I wanted a new name, I really wanted this one at the start but I was not too good on the computer at the time so please, please bare with me as I will probably make mistakes so I will say "SORRY" now in advance. I recognise some of the names from the RWUK forum it is good to see your names. Can anyone tell me if they are going to the signing in the "Traffard Centre" in Manchester, my husband Gerry is taking me down just for that as he knows just how much I really LOVE Russell so hopefully one of my dreams are coming true, Iam going to be wearing my white RW scarf as I have never had the opportuinity to wear it. I would love to meet up with some of you even go for a cup of coffee with you & you could alway's show me around as I have only been in it once & it was a long time ago. I look forward to hearing from anyone that is going. |

Hi Classicalrusky - welcome here too.
I'll let the other fans get back to you on the signing because I'm from Western Australia. I wore my white scarf with pride when we saw Russell in concert last year and as you know, Russell recognises them. Even his backing singers who accompanied him in Australia (and are local) recognised the white scarves - when they saw we had them on, they said "Russell". |

CONGRATULATIONS RUSSELL. We're all behind you for tonight's show.
Would think the BBC will have received a lot of emails about Stuart Copeland's derogatory comments. I sent one in and hope they will act on them. |

Thank you eveyone for your kind welcome on to the forum. looking forward to reading all your messages. I have a sore finger with all the votes I have sent in for Sian & Russell to "WIN" the contest as he really is the best singer on the show. The judge Copeland really has it in for poor Russell I think he is really jealous of Russell's achievment's in his career, so I hope Sian & Russell win & they can say to him "THERE PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE & SMOKE IT"(scottish saying). Fingers at the ready tomorrow night, Iam getting really excited when I think of the show tomorrow night my nerves are shattered I can't imagine how they are feeling. "GOOD LUCK" to them all his dedicated fan's are right behind them. speak to you all later. |

The only judge I have been annoyed with is actually Lulu. She gave Penny a 5 who couldn't sing AT ALL and then she gave Sian the same marking.
Sian isn't a very good singer and she kills everything she does, but I am still rooting for her. She is obviously finding this very emotional. I feel so sorry for her.
I enjoyed Russell performing with Clinton, that was fantastic |

Welcome Classicalrusky to this and the rwuk site.
You feel as we all do about the show and the things that have been said.
We shall all be running up big phone bills again today with our voting.
There will be quite a few going to the signing in Manchester, have a look for the thread on the other site and ask for someone to meet you there.
I am not going this time, went last time. A bit of a long way as i live right down south and Monday is a difficult day for a lot of people to get off work.
Hope you have a good time at The Trafford centre and you will get to meet Russell there if you are patient.

I voted six times for them to win Russell fans done really well voting for him! I was so happy. I don't think they were the strongest duo, but they certainly tried. |

CONGRATULATIONS SIAN AND RUSSELL.
I was so proud of everyone who voted for them and now will have horrendous phone bills, but it was worth it. We couldn't vote from Australia, but we were there all the way with the UK fans. When I found out this morning that they had won, I screamed and did my "rain dance".
