Dear Friends,
I just watched the DVD (was at its pre-final stage of editing) and it looks amazing. It was from a live performance with the New Opera of Moscow Choir and Orchestra at the Herodes Atticus theatre filmed in October 5 & 6 of 2005. Songs are varied ...everything from Classical Arias to Musicals to selections from his albums.
List of songs:

*Encore - Libiamo (Mario with guests)
*Encore - Parlami damore Mariu

Here in this video, you will see Mario at his best, crossing over from classical to standard, to stage musicals to Greek melodies, and with the Acropolis in the background, performed at the ancient Herodes Atticus theatre, accompanied by a full orchestra and a choir....you can't ask for a better treat.
He expressed his thanks to everybody...family, friends, the audience and to the fans. This was what he said :
"....and to my fans who are here tonight from various places in the world for being close to me this special evening"
There will also be a CD made out from the DVD. Watch out for the release to be announced here.

I just can't wait for this new dvd and cd, what a good mixture of some lovely songs.
I hope we don't have to wait too long for the release.

Hi Jeanne
Yes - it's going to be an international release and Mario's been involved in the editing. When I saw the track listing, I thought WOW, this is going to be his best release so far.

Hi Wendy
Josy is moderator of Mario's Yahoo fan site and is Mario's special friend. Josy is involved in promoting Mario and works in with his agent, Matthew Inge. She's one very special lady and always passes on all the Mario news as soon as she can.

| Since I was introduced to this great artist by Classicalx I really have become a big fan. Are there any DVD's at all that we can play in the UK? |

Not yet. Initially it was hoped that it would be December and then January,and now it's March. It must be pretty soon. As soon as I hear anything, you'll hear it within minutes !!

Hi Zio
I think you have PAL format in the UK? Can you play NTSC as well? Here in Australia, we can play both PAL and NTSC. If you can play NTSC, then you can order the Sometimes I Dream DVD from the US - I think Amazon and DVD Universe (where I usually buy on line). It's not expensive, I think around $11 or $12 US and then postage. It's a wonderful DVD. The new one will be an international release and you won't have any problems playing that one. It won't be too long before it's released and Mario has said that it's better than the Sometimes I Dream one.
