That is almost a sin for Russell not to let his voice soar, it must take so much control for him. I wish him the best and hope everyone realises what a talent they have in their midst.

THIS IS FROM RUSSELL'S OS.........

In case you missed it, last night Russell made his debut on the primetime BBC1 entertainment show Just the Two of Us.

We've just got this note from the man himself, fresh from the show last night...

Hi Everyone,
I'm sure you've all seen by now that I'm in "Just The Two Of Us". It's a great show and your support would be greatly appreciated to keep me in the show!
lots of love, Your No. 1 Tenor!"

Last night was just the beginning, because from here on things get personal!! From tonight, each couple is vulnerable to the British public voting them off the show and this is where you come in…

HELP US KEEP RUSSELL ON THE SHOW!

Please, please, after the show tonight (8.30 - 10 pm BBC1) vote for Russell and his partner Sian Reeves (Sydney, from the hit TV show "Cutting It") by calling this number

PHONE 0901 121 2204 - to vote for Russell

And let us keep the boywonder, singing sensation, or as the BBC says "Opera Heartthrob" Russell on the show.

YOU CAN CALL AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE!! and the voting is reset after each show, so keep calling after every show!

Hi everyone, looks like I'm the first back. Really tired but we had a great night, after queuing for ages outside in the cold. I can't say I think a lot of the Beeb organisation, but anyway enough of that, , the stars of the show, Russell and Sian were very hard done-by. We all agreed..what was the matter with the judges, Lulu in particular, We were disgusted with. It was clear that the audience thought they were the best. Russell saw us as he came out to sing, and stopped and shook hands with the girls in the front, and waved and beamed to us in the row behind. He looked so nervous before hand, bless him. I thought about it later..It was such a brave thing to do ...to perform on this show...putting his head on the line ..and having to endure these judges who were way off-beam. I know I'm a Russell fan, but Sian and Russell were so good, they did not deserve the way they were treated. Russell came out at the end to speak to fans, and sign things, posed for pics etc. I didn't see anyone else do that.

It seems clear to me that the judges are harder on Russell and Sian, and that makes me even more determined they should do well. So come on everyone...

VOTE RUSSELL AND SIAN

I think it comes down to professional jealousy. Lulu thinks she can sing and can't and the others ..... what have they done?

I agree about Lulu I could give her a BIG Slap, Red_Colorz_PDT_01 My Hubby said she must be jealous, as most of her negative comments seem to be aimed at the Female contestants !!! and that was said by a MAN
I thought that Sian & Russell were THE BEST, Lets keep voting for THE BEST !!

Im watching the programme too and I thought Russell and Sian were excellent. Definitely marked too low by the judges. Russell has such a great voice.

I honestly dont think those judges know what they are talking about half the time.

Good luck to Russell and Sian - Im rooting for them! Smile

Love Molly xx

Well said everyone. Razz Razz Next show starting soon. Stand by your phones. Very Happy Very Happy Russell and Sian may need us to inject some fairness into the sytem, if the judging so far is anything to go by. Sad

The judging was much the same as before, but Russell and Sian got through.

I voted several times as i suspect most of us Russellers did.

Val your comment about fairness was right. The point is where is it? Evil or Very Mad

Gone to pot, Wendy. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes The judges seem to be watching something different to me. Rolling Eyes although after watching them at the show yesterday, when they didn't seem to be paying much attention, maybe that is the reason.

I honestly felt he had to stunt his voice because of the powers that be. I suppose it's a little understandable while sian has a nice voice, Russell can drown her out without trying. She does herself no favours by slanging her mentor off tho' given as its supposed to be a partnership. It just doesnt work that way. The duet with Alexander was lovely they gel together singing no need to compensate for each other. It just sounded so good. Excuse me for the cynisism (sp) but I really do think that with the judges they've been told to be Mr Nice or Mrs Nasty. They all know who the supreme singer is Wink Smile

I am looking forward to seeing and hearing the duet with Alexander.
Russell is much to good for this show, he is a show on his own and he doesn't need this.
Question.....has he even been thanked for helping them out.
