A little out of date, but thought you might still enjoy reading it.....
British Classical Boy Band Blake take New York by storm!
The Blake boys are currently making waves in the US right now, having made a considerable impression with their very first performance at the Angel Ball in NYC this week which featured performances from fellow Brit Estelle.
There is no doubt the US are taking the British boys to their hearts with what US industry insiders are calling the start of 'Blakemania".
After wowing all the major TV networks on the red carpet, the boys have been invited along to go onto various TV shows. Inside the event, Blake sang 'Unsung Hero' to which they received a standing ovation from the audience.
Said Stephen, "Being in New York and performing at the Angel Ball was absolutely incredible. It's our first trip as a group to the US and the reaction to us has been really overwhelming. The crowds out here are great and we look forward to returning to the US next year."
Blake's album 'Together' will be released in the US in Spring 2010. The single 'Unsung Hero' is released in the UK on November 9th

The boys were in Swansea on 11th Nov, paying their respects to those fallen troops and their families in commemoration of Armistice Day.
They performed alongside local Swansea native Bonnie Tyler. "It was a moving day with a fantastic crowd to support Armistice Day and we were honoured to be a part of it! To all of those that came out to pay there respect we thank you."

Stephen Bowman has been chosen as one of the new faces to promote Nicolet watches. He is extremely excited about the project and honoured to be associated with such a great brand.

| Blake have been approached by the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) to ask if they could use one of their tracks as their theme song for next year. The guys are delighted to be asked and consider it a great honour. |

Blake featured in Mayfair Fashion Magazine
Mayfair Fashion Magazine recently featured Blake in a 10 page photo spread which is on news stands now! The boys were all dressed head to toe in Ralph Lauren Black Label, the premier collection from this top US fashion house. The photos were taken at Blake’s hotel in London, a top hangout for international celebrities avoiding the cameras of the British paparazzi. Over the course of 8 hours shooting with top fashion photographer, David Wise, over 300 unique photos were taken. Styling and location choice was designed to show off Blake’s more traditional British roots, with a modern twist provided by Ralph Lauren. The magazine released this month is a quarterly high fashion edition, available until late February in the UK.

Celebrities donate bags for Charity Auction
...Boyband Blake, who have shared the stage with chart-topper Rihanna, will also perform on the night.
The group, which formed through social networking site Facebook in 2007, bridge the gap between pop and opera.
Their debut album, Blake, was released in 2007 and went straight to number one in the UK Classical Album Chart and hit the top 20 in the UK Pop Album Chart.
It also earned the group an Album of the Year Award in the Classical Brit Awards.
Blakes’ Ollie Baines, formerly of Gosforth, said: “I have always hugely admired the amazing works of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
“Unfortunately these days I think every one of us has known someone who has been affected by or suffered from cancer.
“It is so important that everyone in need is able to benefit from their specialist and free nursing care and so Blake are truly delighted to be able to lend their support by performing at the Handbags and Gladrags Ball.”....
