I've been and ordered mine. One to play and one to keep pristine and get signed sometime soon I hope. Laughing

Marketing people must know what they're doing but I wondered why this wasn't released in time for Christmas. Perhaps due to Russell changing record label. Good value though at under £4.00.

has anyone else noticed the sleeve is mis-printed? I have 2 copies so far and in both cases page 1 of the little booklet is repeated on page 2 and page 3 finishes mid sentance...

Hi NicolaJane, yes you are one of many unhappy with the sleeve, there have been a lot of complaints sent to the label about it.

I'm guessing that Decca put it out as a rush job to make a fast buck and I doubt very much whether Russell had anything to do with it. It seems that's what record labels do when an artist leaves, "Best of ...." It's a very poor piece of work. Does nobody proof read anymore? Rolling Eyes Still glad to have it though.

Hello All Fans

Hi its catthedog from Bristol Here

I must agree with you all that my album has exactly the same problem all you all have had. It is a lovely album with some great songs on it but this problem does spoil it!! It seems like the record company made the album on the cheap! It seems the album was released by Spectrum Records. I can`t say I have heard of them?

I am sure that Russell never mentioned in his personal message to us this year that this album was comming out. Does he know anything about this album? I am sure that he normally mentions to us in any personal messages that he has a new album coming out. What does everyone else think about it? In would be interested to hear any views!

All the best

I think Russell probably knew about the album but wouldn't have had any say in it's release. I bought a couple of copies of it - one to play and the other to keep pristine and get signed at some stage.

We do know that he is to release a "classical" album later in the year because he told us himself and I can't wait to see what's on it and, hopefully, hear some tracks from it "live" during the year.

Hi catthedog Very Happy
Spectrum is part of Decca his old record label, they did what most labels do when an artist leaves, releasing a themed or best of album. Russell will have been aware of its release but obviously not promoting it as he is now a Sony artist. Just like all the others all you can do is send a message to the label to let them know if you find the mistakes unacceptable.
