Buskers set to hit the streets of Liverpool

"...Thomas Spencer- Wortley, who is being hailed as a young Andrea Bocelli, will kick-start the auditions with a busking session at 1pm tomorrow.

Thomas is visiting the city as part of his mission to tour the UK bringing classical music to the masses.

Busking for Success will see Thomas perform with his all-female string quartet at shopping centres across the country.

He hopes to fulfil his 80-year-old grandmother’s dream of seeing him perform at the Royal Albert Hall..."

Royal Bath and West Showground
As a special guest at the Katherine Jenkins concert, Thomas will be appearing at the big gig weekend at the Royal Bath and West Showground in Shepton Mallet in Somerset on the 27th September.

This is an outdoor event, gates open from 3pm, Katherine's show starts around 7 30pm.
Adults £30
Children £15 (6-16 years) under 6 free.

Thomas will be making a number of live performances over the 3 days of the 'Simply Christmas Fair' in the Harrogate International Centre. Thomas' fabulous all female string quartet 'Midnight' will be performing music throughout the 3 day period and will accompany Thomas for his performances.

I was fortunate enough to be able to see Thomas perform at the Simply Christmas event in Harrogate today. Despite recovering from a cold, Thomas was on good form and performed each of the songs beautifully.He was accompanied on the keyboards by his MD and also the brilliant string quartet "Midnight". The sound was truly incredible and it was lovely to see them so well received by those attending.
The event itself was fantastic, so many stalls,displays and shopping opportunities - combined with beautiful music, it made for a wonderful day and I'm looking forward to going again next year. Smile

Here is a message from Thomas' website about the St John's, Smith Square concert:

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are extremely disappointed to announce that the concert on Sunday 20th December has been cancelled.

We would like to offer a free ticket (per St. John's ticket bought) to either the Birmingham or Harrogate concerts as a way of an apology for the cancellation.

Patrons will be contacted by St. John's, Smith Square concerning refunds.

For further information please email admin@thomasspencerwortley.com with your name and ticket number reservations from St.John's, Smith Square."

I have just heard that Camilla Kerslake will be making a surprise guest appearance with Thomas in his concert at Town Hall, Birmingham on Monday 21st December!
