Mozart’s take on the Don Juan legend and among most people’s top five operas, Don Giovanni is a work that dresses the dark heart of the wayward nobleman in a ribald, comic coat but leaves us in no doubt as to where such behaviour will see us end up.

It is a masterpiece of course, with music of everlasting greatness. This production reunites Stephen Barlow and Nicholas Garrett, the director and ‘Scarpia’ respectively from the brilliant 2008 OHP production of Tosca.

Great venue, really great opera and best of all is Nick will sing the Don!
I would expect a great production with Mr Barlow having shown an excellent version of Tosca last year!
