Buffet will give music lovers an appetite for the first concert of club’s new winter season

...The concert will be presented by Camerata Ritmata ... with special guest vocalist, Daisy Chute from All Angels, the first female classical supergroup, whose debut album reached number two in the classical charts.

Daisy is part of this platinum selling Brit Award nominated vocal quartet with whom she has performed countless prestigious concerts, singing at the Royal Albert Hall and the Wigmore Hall, as well as releasing a critically acclaimed solo jazz album.

Combining Simon Thacker's award winning guitar playing with the vocal artistry of Daisy Chute and three of Britain's finest jazz musicians, Camerata Ritmata find expression in a diverse range of material from jazz, classical, popular and Latin American sources. Timeless and beautifully colourful music from around the world is given the unique Camerata Ritmata sound, utilising several combinations of the performers.

Daisy and the classical jazz quartet will present the Opening Concert in this winter season in the Municipal Hall, High Street, Biggar on Saturday, at 8pm., following the Candlelight Buffet.
