I had the opportunity to see Thomas perform at a couple of venues, including a day time appearance in my old home town of Burton- on -Trent and an evening party / concert in Bretby. The day turned out to be a bit of a Classicalx day out as both Xaria and Xstatic turned up too. Smile

I really enjoyed watching Thomas perform - particularly to his home crowd! He has a very calming voice which is well suited to the songs he performed and when combined with the talents of pianist Dominic Carter and female string players Midnight sounds truly breathtaking. One old lady who was stood near me told me she thought Thomas was a lovely young man and sounded like Jesus! - now that would be a hard comparison to live up to, never mind the solo version of Il Divo!

He performed many wonderful tracks from his album including The Prayer which he sang with Mairead Carlin.I didn't think I'd heard Mairead perform before (although I now know she plays the Rose on the DVD The Little Prince) but she has a pure and beautiful quality to her voice which made for a perfect duet with Thomas.I think Mairead is another singer to look out for in the future.

What I really liked about Thomas's performances, other than the music, is the fact that it really is a family affair when you see him.His brother wrote some of the songs on the album, his friends from music college perform alongside with him and whilst we were in Burton, his parents and other family members were going amongst the crowds giving out flyers about him. Whilst we were in Burton, the local HMV sold out of his album and had to send out to another store for more stock!!

It's a promising start for Thomas and if things continue this way then he's set for a very successful career. If you hadn't had chance yet to hear his music, then I would recommend you give it a try for yourself and see. He does include many songs on his album which you will be familiar with which are all performed brilliantly. For me though, the hi-lights of the album are the new songs which were written by his brother - particularly Credere and the arrangement of Ave Maria.

It was great to be a part of this tour and see someone who is just starting out in his career get such a positive response from the public.I look forward to hearing more from him in the future.

I really must agree wholeheartedly with Xantha.

I had seen Thomas on the ClassicalX website and had realised that he would be performing in the shopping centre within easy driving distance of my home. I decided to go along - and was surprised but delighted when the other two Artist Supporters came along.

I had intended to stay just for the first set - to check him out - but he was really VERY good and I was happy to hear him three times - with slight variations in the programme. After the first set I headed off to the shop to buy the CD - they later sold out completely.

There was no question - when I heard about the evening concert in Bretby, I had to go along too.

He has an exceptional talent and a wonderfully charismatic personality. His voice is stunningly warm and so expressive and, as Xantha has noted, the whole event was such a marvellous family affair.

This guy is going places and I feel very privileged to have been at an early step along this exciting journey.

There's not much more that I can say to add to xantha and xstatic. Thomas really is a wonderful performer and has a great relationship with people. On the occasions that I have been privilaged to see him, he was always warm and friendly to everyone who approached him.
The HMV in Burton did indeed sell out, which I hope is a very good sign for the future! Smile After all the work Thomas and his family have put into making and publicizing the album, including the handing out of flyers during his busking gigs, he deserves all the success in the world. If you haven't had a chance to see him perform yet, I thoroughly recommend that you do. Smile x
