Blake will be appearing with Natasha Marsh at the Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod 10th July 2009 7.45pm

The voices of Stephen Bowman, Jules Knight, Dominic Tighe and Ollie Baines produce a mixture of classical and operatic quality with a contemporary twist.

Blake will be performing at the Kings Lynn Festival 12-25 July 2009 joining artists like Emma johnson and Freddy Kempf.

The date for this concert has now been confirmed as Sunday 19th July, 7.30pm at the Corn Exchange.

Ascot Racecourse is delighted to announce that Escala, Blake and Natasha Marsh will form the line up for the first concert of the Betfair Weekend on Friday 24th July.

The three acts all of a classical background form the first part of what promises to be a great weekend of music and racing at Ascot Racecourse.

Escala shot to fame on Britain's Got Talent and are a glamourous string quartet whose debut album is due for release on 1st June. They are joined by Blake, a four man choral group. Their debut album, Blake, went straight in at No.1 in the UK classical album chart and hit the Top 20 in the UK pop album chart.

The two groups are accompanied on stage by Natasha Marsh the Welsh Soprano who is one of Britain's most exciting operatic exports. Her album 'Amour' hit the top of the Classical charts in it's first weeks of release. Natasha was also chosen as the voice of ITV's Euro 2008 coverage.

Blake will sing live to approximately 18,000 women tonight in Hyde Park before they all go on the Moon Walk for breast cancer.

Tickets for Blake's performance at the Kings Lynn Festival in July will go on sale on Monday 18th May. See earlier post for booking details.

Please note the Festival for Heroes concert at Blenheim Palace June 20th has been cancelled.

Meanwhile, tickets for Blake's concert at the Kings Lynn festival are selling extremely well. If you haven't yet booked yours, be sure to do so soon.

Blake will be the special guests of Dame Vera Lynn on 10th October 2009, when they will be performing at a special commemorative dinner to mark the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II.

11th November - Castle Square Swansea

In 2009, for the first time, The Royal British Legion will host a “Silence in the Square” event in Castle Square, Swansea on 11 November. And Blake will be there to show their support and perform.

The event will commence around 9.30am with a programme of entertainment leading up to 11.00am and the public is invited to attend. Details of the day’s programme will be released closer to the event.

Following the Two Minute Silence at 11.00am, guests will be invited to scatter poppy petals in the fountains in a symbolic act of Remembrance.

Get A-Head Ball

Blake will be performing at the Get A-Head annual Ball to be held at the Metropole Hotel NEC Birmingham. Get A-Head is a UK based charity that helps those fighting head and neck injuries and cancers.

Also appearing during the evening are Micky Pugh MC, Bobby Davro, Johnny & The Zephyrs and Lord Jeffrey Archer; who will be the auctioneer for the evening.

Stephen said on Twitter that Blake would be recording at Wells Cathedral on Nov 9th for Xmas TV show. Does anyone know if this is still planned.

Chelseawhyte, as far as they know, Blake will still be filming at Wells during the morning / day before doing the concert in Epsom in the evening.Sounds like a busy day for them.
