David has been promoting his new album "Encore" on German TV and he has also played at a number of awards shows.
Several videos of these have been added to the video vault.
You can watch him play "Smooth Criminal" and "Air", plus his unusual performance at the MTV Game awards.

I have uploaded a video of David playing at this year's "Proms in the Park".
The piece is "Csardas" by Vittorio Monti - one of the David favourites - but I have never heard him play it better or with more enthusiasm.

The second piece that David played at the "Proms in the Park" in Hyde Park in September 2008 was "Zigeunerweisen".
I have never heard him play it better and I have uploaded the video into David's video vault |

News from Germany, German TV clip of the concert in the castle grounds in Regensburg.
The weather started rainy but improved and David gave a classical concert in the first half and then joined his band for the second half.

David appeared in a very famous German show "Wetten Dass" on Saturday Nov 7th and played Smooth Criminal, a bit of Hey Jude and the wonderful "Zigeunerweisen" by Sarsasate which is featured on his new Classic Romance CD.
Here is a short clip in which he samples both the Mendelssohn and the Beethoven Violin concertos in a short interview.

David first caught the international imagination when he appeared in the huge event Nokia Night of the Proms in 2002.
The original videoclip of his performance of Czardas (Monti) when he was wearing a woolly hat was a great success on Youtube and now there have been uploads of other parts of his performance on that evening, when he was just 21.
He duetted with John Miles and I have just put this into the video vault. |
