Greetings from Korea [May 26 2008]Many of you have asked for an update from Korea and so here it is! So far the audiences have been incredibly responsive, with sold out, or close-to-sold out, houses each night. Last night the signing line after the show was 4 people deep and about 100 metres long. Absolutely phenomenal! We've been treated to superb hospitality by our Korean hosts and are enjoying a little bit of sight-seeing today before our show tonight. We couldn't be more thrilled with out Korean debut - so thanks for asking!

Backstage in Moscow [June 06 2008]

After finally getting of the train, we've settled in to play Moscow. It's been a long day... but why did we throw Stewart down the stairs? Find out for yourself here.

Live From the Red Square [June 08 2008]

Today we got the chance to do some proper sight-seeing around the Red Square. The weather was magnificent, the locals were friendly and the entertainment was second to none! Josh had a few problems ordering his favourite juice combination... perhaps something got lost in the translation?

Lucky for you, we've caught it all on video, which you can view here.

Tonight we start our long journey back to the Southern Hemisphere, from Russia to Invercargill (New Zealand) via London, Singapore, Brisbane, and Christchurch. Ah, yes... the glamour! We'll bring your news from New Zealand once we've all recovered from the jet lag! Yawn...

We're in New Zealand.... no shut! [June 11 2008]

For those of you who haven't been paying attention, we've spent the last few days on board planes, making our way from Moscow to Christchurch, before heading evening further south for our first performance tomorrow night in Invercargill, New Zealand. Sometimes we wonder whether our tours are planned when our managers get a quet moment alone with a map and a dartboard!

We're all well, we're all happy and we smell good again because we got a 6 hour washing stopover in Brisbane today.

For all our Kiwi fans coming to see us over the next couple of weeks - you are in for a treat! This is, by far, the BEST show we've ever brought to New Zealand. Nobody likes a bragger, but we are on fire right now!! (For our non-English-speaking fans, don't worry... we're not actually ON FIRE... we're just, um... oh never mind.)

New Zealand Premiere Triumph [June 13 2008]

G'day - just a short note to let you all know that we had our premiere show last night in Invercargill, New Zealand. It was a brilliant evening - two standing ovations from a packed house! Fantastic.

Some of our fans over in the forum have been confused about which show we're peforming here... to remove all doubt, we're performing our Here's to the Heroes show, which is full of wonderful music from opera, the classics and cinema!

If you've got friends anywhere in New Zealand tell them to book tickets... don't let them miss out!

Nostalgica Released in Australia November 05 2008 - This week we performed the Australian National Anthem at the Melbourne Cup, a horse race which literally brings the entire nation of Australia to a grinding halt for around 4 minutes at 3 pm on the first Tuesday in November every year. It's difficult to express to you how huge this race is, if you've never been here in Australia to witness it! We decided to pool our resources and each of us contributed a tenner ($10) and placed a bet on horse number 10, Viewed. Well, we were obviously the lucky charm because number 10 galloped home and we all walked away about 35 times richer than when we started.... you beauty!!

Happy New Year - an update! [January 05 2009]

Happy New Year to all our wonderful friends and fans around the world! As you know we're on summer holiday at the moment, so the news will be a little thin on the group until we get back to work at the end of January, but there are a few things we wanted to tell you about in the meantime:

1) As many of you already know, Craig Hendry announced at the final TTT show for 2008 that he's decided to take a break from touring to pursue new dreams. After some 1700 performances over an eight year period, first as our keyboard player, then graduating to 'tenordom' and then having been musical director for the last year or more, Craig has certainly more than earned a rest!

Craig has been an integral part of the development of The Ten Tenors' sound over the last 8 years and we've been so fortunate to have him as part of our team. We're excited to see the fruits of his creative labours which will surely come after some time off the road, and even more delighted that Craig will continue to take part in TTT development behind the scenes. Congratulations Craig and warmest wishes for the next part of your exciting adventure!

2) Speaking of exciting adventures, we are THRILLED to announce that TTT stalwart and Muscial Director, Drew Graham and his beautiful wife, Sandra, welcomed their first child, a daughter, Hayley Madison into the world just before Christmas. Drew and Sandra are delighted with their new addition and we are all very proud 'uncles'!

3) In more happy news, Steven Sowden married his long-time sweetheart Katie in a beautiful ceremony here in Australia yesterday afternoon. Of course we wish Steven and Katie a lifetime of happiness together.

Well, it's hard to top all that news, but we know this will be important to many of you, so we can't close without a quick word about the TTT forum. For reasons we don't quite understand, the forum doesn't appear to be working properly right now. It's not because we've intentionally disabled it or anything like that, so don't panic. That said, we're on holiday and the sun is shining here in Australia, so don't be surprised if we don't fix it straight away... we're sure you'll understand.

Finally, we're really looking forward to seeing you all in 2009... we're already planning and scheming our next musical developments and we can't wait to share them with you, in time. We wish you all the very best for the new year!

6 Shows, 4 Countries, 7 Days... [February 20 2009]

With 2 weeks behind us on this leg of our German tour, the TTT express has travelled much ground. We started in Offenburg in the west, and travelled all the way to Cottbus in the east (only 25kms away from the Polish border) stopping at many beautiful towns and cities along the way. Tomorrow we head to Hagenau in France, then to Holland for shows in Groningen, Aimelo, and Rotterdam. We will then have one show back in Germany, in Mannhiem and then on to Switzerland to end the week in Zurich. For those of you counting at home, that’s 6 shows, across 4 countries in only 7 days. And, for those of you that aren’t interested in counting – did you know, that you can actually draw electricity from a potato?

The new lineup has gelled immediately, with Jeff, Boyd and Tod slotting into their new roles seamlessly. 2009 is truly shaping up to be our biggest and best year yet. We believe this is the most exciting blend of voices we’ve had in a long time...

On a more serious note, news of the horrific bushfires back home in Victoria and the floods in Queensland has made a big impact on the group. Being on the other side of the world hasn’t stopped us from trying to do our bit to help provide some relief to those affected by this terrible event. We are accepting donations to the Red Cross relief charities from the German public after every show and the response has been overwhelming. It seems that the news of the disasters is global and people have been more than willing to give generously. We sincerely thank those have donated their hard earned money and send our thoughts and prayers back home. If you can spare a few dollars, please give generously to the Red Cross Relief Fund. Thank you...

March

Auf Wiedersehen, Deutschland. March 21 sees us wrap up our German tour for 2009. We're finishing off with a bang in Hamburg, our European home. Audience members tonight will join us for the European farewell to Drew Graham, who will be taking an off-stage role in The Ten Tenors' management at the end of this tour.

While it won't be his official final performance with The Ten Tenors, which will take place in Cairns, Australia later in 2009, no doubt it will be an emotionally-charged performance tonight for fans and tenors alike. Next update from South Africa... howzit, ladies?!
