Let's Get the New Year Started [January 31 2009]

We've all landed safely in Germany and we're all set for our first show of the year, tomorrow night. Not only will it be our first show for the year, but it will the first show ever for our newest member: Boyd Owen! Boyd is an outstanding young Australian operatice tenor, who brings to the group a wealth of experience in the finest classical tradition. Boyd is thrilled to be joining the tenors and can't wait to meet all his newest fans as he makes his way around the world with The Ten Tenors in 2009.

In other news, Tod Strike has been announced in the main TTT line-up for 2009, replacing Jason Short who leaves the group bound for new adventures. No doubt fans of Tod's everywhere will breathe a sigh of relief, safe in the knowledge that their boy is back on the boards.

Speaking of sighs of relief... in other exciting news for long-time TTT fans, Jeff Teale returns to the tour as our understudy for 2009... a terrific young singer and a favourite of many fans throughout the world.

It's going to be an exciting year: Europe, South Africa, USA, Australia... and many other nations in between. We look forward to seeing you out there in the crowd soon!

Nice to see Jeff back tho, even if he is just swing atm. Very Happy

Drew leaving?? Shocked

Not many left from when I first got into TTT. Just Stewart, Drew and Dom I think. I still miss Burce Crying or Very sad

Well, there's no official news about him leaving and he himself keeps saying that he still doesn't know how he'll go on after the end of the European tour. However, I think he'll be the next to leave... sooner or later. He'd want to be home with his little girl, I think. Very Happy
