katherine's a lovely singer but I really don't like her version of the above song. It must be hard to adapt it classically but for me she doesn't hit the right nuances when she sings it, nor gets the appropriate emotion in her voice.

It could have been so much better..

Hey,

Actually, it's the only song on her new album that I listen to. There is more to desired in some parts of the song, and she doesn't belt it enough, but I think it's a good song to adapt to classical repotoire as Sarah Brightman did for 'My Heart Will Go On' and 'Who Wants to Live Forever'. I do Katherine's rendition, but there wasn't enough power behind it. Too used to Whitneys Houston's version I think...

She doesn't have the trills and licks in her voice that Whitney does, nor does she perform the song with the needed dynamics.

I like Katherine but I guess I just don't like her version. Smile Katherine cannot sing r'n'b - her voice isn't suited for it.

I actually really like this song. I first heard it at a concert in Kent last year and think that it sounds better live. Any feeling that was there seems to have been lost in the recording (as often happens), which is a shame. It's still a top player for Katherine on my iTunes though!

I really like her version of this, is one of my faves on Living a Dream. I think its really brave of her to adapt such a well known pop/rnb song into a classical track and IMO she does it justice
