Opera heart-throbs Il Divo join GMTV on Monday's show - send them your question CLICK HERE

Opera hunks Il Divo are back with a new album 'The Promise'. And they're on Monday's show to perform their version of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's 'The Power of Love'.

The chart-topping quartet have enjoyed a phenomenal rise to fame after being launched on GMTV in September 2004.

Simon Cowell's classical act sold five million copies of their self-titled debut album. Their first two albums 'Il Divo' and 'Ancora' went straight to No.1 and have been hugely successful worldwide.

Il Divo, which means divine performer or male diva, were formed after a two-year worldwide search.

Each member has had years of singing training and experience and Cowell reckons they bring some of the romance of music into the lives of 20 to 50-year olds.

Operatic quartet

Il Divo are - tenors David Miller, Sebastien Izambard, Urs Buhler and baritone Carlos Marin.

Urs Buhler is a former rock singer who was taught at the Luzern Academy in Switzerland and has sung internationally for the past seven years. He has sung with the Salzburg and Amsterdam Operas and is a star of Holland's oratorio circuit.
Carlos Marin was born in Germany of Spanish parents. He's a Spanish baritone best known for performing in productions of Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast and The Man from La Mancha.
Sebastien Izambard is a self-taught prodigy. He is also an accomplished songwriter who plays guitar and piano. He has lived in Paris and produced for many other French artistes. In 2001 he performed with Johnny Haliday as a guest in his sold-out performances at the Paris Olympia.
David Miller is from Colorado. He graduated from the Oberlin conservatory in Ohio where he took degrees in Vocal Performance and Opera Theatre. He has lived in New York for 10 years and sung the lead in more than 45 operatic productions. He has also appeared on Broadway in La Boheme.
