thanks Boss - I'll try again tomorrow - I did paste and edit. It's after midnight here, so I'm off to bed. Night night. _________________ Music is love in search for a word |

It didn't work with Open Office though. Had to copy it into a simple text editor, but after that it was fine. |

Thx Nadine - so the answer is to COPY and PASTE in to a TEXT editor like NOTEPAD - then COPY and PASTE it from there in to ClassicalX. Bit of a pain, but for security reasons, some HTML tags are allowed. |

I've noticed that once you've gotten this error message (wrong HTML tags) and then gone back to the editing with that link "Go Back", you can delete everything and type anything new, you can even paste the text from the text editor - when you click preview it will always give you the error message again. (Anyone know what I mean???) Seems like those HTML tags secretly remain even if you delete everything. |

Yep, it's working but now it puts a backslash in front of each apostrophe (BTW... this also happens in the gallery.) |

Sadly this is once again a security issue and the way data is handled by the database. |

No - but I can edit the DB directly, so should there be any, let me know and I will edit it. I will look in to it though and see if there is a compromise |

Not at all
I have reverted back to 'not accepting tags' - seems to tbe the best way of dealing with (') - sry, just have to have a handing text editor ready |

I was asked at one point to put in the review of the first Tsunami concert which I attended last year, and, as I pointed out here before, reviews about a general concert, possubly involving more than one artist is who is on this site, and about a specific artist (especially when he is not on here!) are different. Is there a part for general reviews? - And then how to do it (assuming people still want it) - sorry, I am not always up to date with all these things!

Hi Bonita,
We have now added a MISC section to the site:
http://www.classicalx.com/Misc.html
It's also in the artist dropdown at the top. You will see a link to submit ALL general reviews there. |

Thanks xboss. I have submitted the review of the Tsunami concert and of the film that was shown, and have indicated that it was not an objective review, as I think that needs to be clear! However, I hope people find it interesting.
