Jonathan features in one of 12 ‘pawtraits’ included in a charity’s 2009 calendar depicting the relationship between celebrities and their pets.
All proceeds from the calendar’s sales will help fund the PDSA’s work to provide free veterinary care for sick or injured pets of people unable to afford veterinary fees.
Alesha Dixon, Jenni Falconer, John Partridge, Johnny Vegas, Alex James, Kym Ryder, Matt Baker, Melinda Messenger, Nathaniel Parker, Sandi Thom and Summer Strallen are the other celebrities pictured with their pets.
To buy a calendar, visit one of the PDSA’s 179 charity shops, log onto www.pdsa.org.uk/petpawtraits or telephone 0800 917 2509.
Photographer Scarlet Page, pictured with Summer Strallen, Jonathan Ansell, Jenni Falconer and John Partridge at the calendar launch, snapped the star pets with their celebrity owners for the calendar.
The full celebrity line-up for the 2009 PDSA Pet Pawtraits calendar includes:
- Comedian Johnny Vegas with dog Frank
- Strictly Come Dancing winner Alesha Dixon with dog Roxy
- Former Blur musician and writer Alex James with dog Socks
- GMTV’s Jenni Falconer with dog Alfie
- Singer Jonathan Ansell with dogs Sammy and Merry
- Award-winning Coronation Street star Kym Ryder with dog Charlie
- Former Blue Peter presenter Matt Baker with dog Meg
- Musician Sandi Thom with cat Toots
- Eastenders actor John Partridge with dog Tilly
- TV presenter Melinda Messenger with dog Sushi
- Actor Nathaniel Parker with cat Petrushka
- West End star Summer Strallen with dog Bam Bam

I'm ordering 2 - my daughter and I both love dogs and Jonathan!!!! 
We usually try and buy lots of our Christmas presents from charity catalogues to help the charities - so this will be the first for this year!

My 2 calenders arrrived - and with them a free box of 10 animal greeting cards. How nice of them to do that.
The calenders are excellent.

| Went pass the PDSA charity shop last Sunday...pity it was closed, I would have popped in to take a quick look of Jon in ALL his glory (and his 2 friends, of course) |
