So agree with you Margaret
I am blown away!! 
I had reservations about this as I couldn't imagine how Jonathan would be able to pull this off without Lesley but I should have had the faith as he does nothing half heartedly and this proved that he can do anything and do it so amazingly well.
What a performance!! Prime TV, huge audience and a fantastic reception - you cannot ask for more 
I never thought his and lesley's version could be topped but to hear Jonathan's voice ring out over that excellent choir was a pleasure to the ears The arrangement so extremely clever, giving the support to Jonathan that this song requires but didn't take anything away from him.
Where as with Lesley, I was listening and enjoying them both, tonight I could solely concentrate on Jonathan's voice and it fill the room - WOW!!!  |

Jonathan looked and sounded fantastic, loved the choir/backing singers,
such a clever arrangement, I was wondering how it would sound, without a
soprano, but I loved this version, Jonathan always suprises and delights .

Although I had mixed feelings about this, it was a resounding success in my opinion.
Jonathan's voice was highlighted more and he blended in so well with the choir and the arrangement was excellent . 
He's keeping us on our toes for sure with all these different performances.
Simply Superb !! |

Sheer beautifully wonderfully sung
The sound engineer had cut down on sound level of reception he got
Imagine England scoring winning goal at Wembley(well you are getting thread from a gooner lol) and you then can get idea of the reception Jonathan got
Sound man? floor manager? came and waved us down to quieten us
I was sort up on cloud 9 amazing performance
I was like Tigger on my chair bouncing clapping and cheering him
Hopefully all the audiance will now go and buy his album and viewers too
Please with cherry on top can you put his performance up on video section |

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE from Jonathan
Wondered how he would pull this off and he did with such ease too !!!
Well done that man and nice for the cameras to pan onto the judges as well, which we didn't see the last 2 weeks with the guests |

Thanks very much Admin for putting up the youtube... 
I absolutely adored this performance - from the first beautiful melodic notes ..... to the last big emotion packed ones - it was a wonderful performance. The addition of the choir worked so fabulously. They were excellent and enhanced the whole lovely listening experience.
I Loved Jonathans passion and emotion and the arrangement of the song was just perfect.
I so hope we get to hear this on tour!

It was such a powerful performance 
Very different from G4 version, and I'm glad it was different. Singing with the choir made Jonathan's singing so different. Very clever in the way turned round to fit to the programme. This version is fantastic in its own merit If it were duet with a soprano, I coudn't have helped comparing with Lesley, then could have missed G4 boys  . |
