Both Nick Knowles and Myleene Klass have a blog on the LCS website.
Here's what they both have to say about Russell:
Myleene - Talking of the judges... It's been great working with all three of them. I only ever see Russell in shorts when he's backstage!
Nick - I love spending time with Russell, who is a really lovely bloke. It was intriguing to discover that he is known to the police in Hereford! Neither he nor the Hereford Police Male Choir would say how!

When you have legs like Russell's, why not show them of. |

Yeah we all knew from his book at least, that he doesn't like wearing the suits until he really has to. So Myleene and the rest of the crew have been nicely treated to Russell's legs. |

I think Russell is a great jude he is fair and to the point , he lets
the choir down gently, he has a lovely sense of humour.
I went with my family to one of Russells recent concerts, and he was
absolutely brilliant and no wander he is called THE VOICE!!!!!!!!!

That's great jonsgirl.
I agree about Russell's judging, he just goes to prove you don't have to be nasty when telling people they not through or tuning out etc. |

Next weekend starts the live finals on the Saturday and the results are still aired Sunday
Saturday 09 August
BBC1 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Myleene Klass and Nick Knowles continue the search for Britain's best choir. The final six choirs battle it out in the first live knockout show. Judges Russell Watson, Sharon D Clarke and Suzi Digby give their verdict on the choirs' performances, but their fate is ultimately in the hands of the public as they vote for their favourite choirs.
Sunday 10 August
BBC1 6:00pm - 6:30pm
Myleene Klass and Nick Knowles host the search for Britain's best choir. The final six choirs discover their fate as the result of the public phone vote is revealed. The four choirs with the most votes go through to the next round, whilst the remaining two choirs face the dreaded sing-off. One choir will be leaving the competition, with the other five taking a crucial step on the road to winning the title.

So the judges only give their opinions on the choirs on saturday, but have to face the tough deal of who stays and who goes out of the two with the lowest votes. I don't envy Russell that job,as head judge, but I'm sure he'll handle it well. |

Some more about Russell from Myleene's latest LCS blog
Myleene - "And Russell Watson was also making me laugh when he was making his comments about Hear Me Now's performance. He said to Maggie that he was 'blinded by the headlights... literally!' I was like 'Oh my GOD! Now everyone's looking at her boobs'. Russell was blushing because Maggie fancies him so insanely!

Again this weekend the main show and results show are both on the Saturday. And this weekend it's the Semi-final so judging will probably be very hard for Russell and co as the standards are getting higher each week.
Saturday 23 August
BBC1 6:30pm - 7:30pm
and
Saturday 23 August
BBC1 8:20pm - 8:45pm |

Thanks for that R2. I was wondering if that'd be the case.
Now we get to wonder what Russell will sing. Something old or something new.
This weekends shows are again both on Saturday
Saturday 30 August
BBC1 6:00pm - 7:05pm
and
Saturday 30 August
BBC1 8:50pm - 9:20pm |
