"...On August 24, the network of screens, known as ‘Live Sites’, will show the Visa London 2012 Party live from The Mall, where 40,000 people will gather to watch the show. Tickets for the Mall party have already been allocated via a ballot, which was over subscribed. It will also be broadcast live to the rest of the nation on BBC One and BBC Radio 2 and will feature performances from multi-million-selling artists including The Feeling, Il Divo, Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson and McFly marking the moment when London becomes the official Host City of the Summer Olympic Games..."

There are going to be big screens in some towns around the UK for the Olympics so hopefully some people will get to see Russell on them. Smile

I will be looking out for him on my little TV though Laughing

Wonder what song(s) he'll sing. Any thoughts??

This show seems to be a watch and see if Russell is going to be a part of it. As he is on the original information for it (see first post), but he's not mentioned on the BBC TV advert for it. But on Last Choir Standing it was announced the final 3 choirs will be there, so Russell may well still be in the line up too.

Unfortunately Russell was not part of the London 2012 party.
It was great that he was to be a part of the line up though (see first post), but possibly he was too busy with LCS and work on the forth-coming album, or just finally having a day of rest.

Very Happy
