| I think it is important to help where ever we can - too many times we think someone else will deal with it - when in reality, we all need to. |

YEAY to xboss.
Make poverty history is a VERY worthwhile cause and I'm so glad you and the site are backing it.
I always wear my wristbands. |

| I am sad that there is so much poverty in this world NO ONE i repeat no one deserves to go through that. It can be a cruel world out there. I hope there is something i can do to help to make poverty gone for good. |

Well done boss for putting that up. I have my wristband too. Yes meghan, it is such a cruel world for some people who have so very little. I also try to buy the brands of food that come from the develping countries, instead of the get rich big conglomerates. I think that is one thing you can do..you can see them in the supermarkets under fairtrade. They can have different trading names, but come under that umbrella.

Well, for a start you could wear a white wristband. You don't need to buy anything, just take a white piece of cloth (or even a tissue will do) and wrap it around your wrist to show support for that campaign. |

I saw a report on the tele this morning about ethnic clothing. This is being taken up by different firms, including M and S (Sarah may be able to tell us more) and is again fairtrade, which helps to promote the work done by Africans. It is another way we can help to reduce poverty, by supporting them if we can. |

True Volare! I buy fair trade clothes, jewellery, food and other items as much as possible. It's getting easier to find them in large stores now, because a lot of them have advertised their fair trade associations and they are keen to point out the products - before it took a lot of time to read labels etc. |

| I watched a documentary on this espeically on the Live 8 concert. It's a huge appeal and it is heavily worked on and cared for. I think it's great. |

I have found this site www.greatgifts.org
They will send you a catalogue ..the alternative gift catalogue, and you can ask your friends to say, help buy school textbooks £7 for children in Sierra Leone. This could be instead of buying something for you. There are all sorts of ideas. |
