Maybe I wasn't in the right mood when I watched this but I was very disappointed in the show. Mind you, I never liked the early rounds of other reality shows so maybe once it gets going I will enjoy it more. Smile

I quite enjoyed this show. Each choir is as diverse from the other in their choices of songs and the way that they present them Very Happy

Was nice to see Russell Watson back to his 'old self' and even getting up on the stage to have a go with the choirs. Liked seeing the other judges up there too and dancing around, it looked like they were enjoying themselves. Much better than just sitting giving judgement and opinions like other talent shows Wink Even Myleene & Nick were having a go in the rehearsal rooms !!

A real breath of fresh air Wink Very Happy

As explained to you privately R2

At Classicalx we are here to promote the artists within the Classical Crossover genre in a positive light.

Many fans with differing views, opinions and favourites happily post side by side here. Most agree to disagree if they favour one person more than another. We do however have a zero tolerance policy on posts which are of a derogatory nature towards anyone, artists and members alike.

I need to ask that in future you take this into account before making comments that other fans will find offensive.

We can all get along with a little tolerance and respect shown to others and your comment was far from constructive criticism.

Hi Natalie, I was wondering as I haven't had a chance to see any of the shows yet, do the guest artist sing a song that includes any of the choirs featured or do they sing on their own?

I would also love to hear Jonathan sing Funiculi Funicula on the show but to be honest, anything sung to me in my living room via the TV by Jonathan is more than welcome!! Very Happy

The artist sing their own song
when I saw Gardar he sung ND which is on his new album
The LCS that had him,Gardar sung before the actual show started
It was shown in the 2nd part of show.
Maybe it was done that way as Gardar had to fly back to Iceland
The recording I saw with Gardar will be shown on Saturday

Ah, well, no Jonathan this week then, but will be watching just the same.

Sounds like the 'guest' sings a song then - wonder what Jonathan will sing - maybe 'Funiculi, Funicula' as he did that one at Petworth, which was a new song for him Very Happy Wink

Oh I hope it is "Funiculi, Funicula"-that was stunning at Petworth, and this is a great opportunity to knock the socks off the Great British Public Very Happy
