This will be the last tour for Geoff Sewell with Amici Forever, since he will be leaving the group to help care for his daughter Sienna. It will be a major blow for the group to lose their co - founder especially so soon after the departure of Nick, but can only benefit his family at such a difficult time.

That's sad news for all fans, I guess. Do you know if there's someone who'll replace him?

this is a message Geoff has posted on the OS.

Just recently my wife Simone and I received the painful news that our two year old daughter Sienna has an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Children with this condition benefit from stability and routine in daily life in order to thrive. Much effort is required from their loved ones to ensure their future is bright and their potential realised. Therefore our family coping with Daddy´s frequent absences and regular globetrotting, according to a fluctuating and dictated schedule, is not cool.

It is with sadness that I've made the difficult decision to leave Amici so I can spend more time at home. The February tour of my homeland, New Zealand, and Australia is my farewell.

To all my family, friends and our fans throughout the world I can´t thank you enough for all your love and support over the past amazing four years.

Thanks to SonyBMG worldwide for their commitment and hard work. Enjoying success at home´ has been a dream come true.

To Jo, David and Tsakane you are amazing people and it´s been an absolute blast sharing the highs and the lows with you. Keep living the dream!

Making a difference in people´s lives is where the juice is and I have felt so privileged during my Amici years. Now I ask that you please help Simone and I in our quest to raise the profile of Autism and find answers to help families throughout the world.

I will leave Jo, David, Tsakane and their management to let you know all about Amici's exciting plans going forward.

Yes - Life is truly a daring adventure or nothing. Now it´s time for a new adventure.

Lots of love

Geoff

i dont really know much about Amici, but it is SO pleasing to see that family ALWAYS comes ahead of career.
Much love to Geoff and his family, and in their plight to raise awareness on Autism.

And as said before we'll just wait and see if the rest of Amici, remain A 3peice or get a replacement.

1st post ,says this a Nick left too, was there originally 5 members.

This is so very sad for Geoff and his family. However, with the stability he speaks about and the love and support family and friends, little Sienna will develop well. I saw him interviewed on Songs of Praise a couple of years ago, and just hope and pray that his faith gives him the strength he needs at this time.
