Sharon D Clarke (A fellow judge with Russell on the show) was on Paul O'Grady today and they spoke a bit about Russell. How he's well and Paul said how he's a survivor and manages to just get on with things. (joked that he has to be a survivor coping with Paul for 30weeks at the pier knowing Russell from blackpool days).
It was a nice little mention for Russell. |

Last Choir Standing starts on our screens This Saturday 5th July - BBC1 7.45pm - 8.45pm
Myleene Klass and Nick Knowles host the search for Britain's best choir. Thousands of applications are whittled down as 60 of the best choirs are invited to audition in front of the expert judges - Russell Watson, Sharon D. Clarke and Suzi Digby - at London's Cadogan Hall
From the look of the TV advert for the show, some of those choirs look like a great fun bunch. |

I thought Russell made a very diplomatic judge, but also had a laugh joining in. And hehe their faces at the quiet meditational 'choir' that wanted to sit in a circle was a picture.
I think we'll see more of Russell once the Live studio shows start.

Having now seen some of the show, it's brilliant!
Russell looks lovely, and it's so sweet to see how he obviously cares about everyone who's taking part, and hates having to spoil people's dreams. How considerate and caring he is, and the other two judges are nice too.
I look forward to the finals of this exciting show! |
